Trileaf serves the wireless communications, commercial real estate, financial, and petroleum industries from its headquarters in St. Louis, MO and multiple branch offices throughout the U.S.
Job Summary:
Trileaf is seeking a temporary full time, Architectural Site Surveyor for Canada. This is a T4A Contractor position. This person will be responsible for conducting Trileaf’s fieldwork as it relates to accessibility compliance, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering The successful candidate will complete approximately 10 site surveys per week.
Essential Job Functions:
· Survey 2 sites per day averaging 6-10 a week depending on travel
· Collect adequate data in order to provide an as-built drawing depicting the floor plan. The floor plan will depict walls, windows, doors, fixtures, and relevant dimension lines
· Collect photographs and document information pertaining to any refrigeration case, walk-in cooler and racking system(s), HVAC units, and/or condensers, including any located within the store as well as any located on the rooftop. Pictures of the placards/serial plates will be taken, as applicable and available.
· Responsible for turning in monthly expense report on time and keeping track of site expenses
· Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, as this position is 100% travel
- Knowledge and experience in architectural/construction principles
- Spatial intelligence and ability to sketch
- Sound technical abilities, such as mobile mapping, use of iPads, etc
- Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe and other similar software
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Valid Driver License
- Be an independent worker dedicated to excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
· Ability to draft in CAD
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
