The Site Operations Manager at RS Integrated Supply oversees the daily operations of the MRO storeroom, focusing on inventory management, cost savings, and customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and provide ongoing safety training for staff
- Supervise all aspects of MRO and storeroom management, including customer service, supply chain management, and inventory control
- Manage and train employees, monitor performance, and address any employment issues
- Negotiate stock guarantees with Category Managers and manage purchasing activities
- Maintain data integrity within RS Integrated Supply enterprise asset management system and/or the customer’s CMMS system
- Develop and implement strategic plans to prioritize daily tasks and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels, implement Inventory Reduction Programs, and maintain proper labeling and storage of items
- Prepare and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reports, analyzing results and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with other Site Buyers and Managers to capitalize on opportunities and shared resources
- Build successful vendor relationships, research savings opportunities, and manage invoicing and AR
- Communicate with customers to enhance program implementation and evaluate areas for improvement
- Develop knowledge of customer’s business and operations to enhance program offerings
- Keep staff updated with site and company information
- Perform procurement specialist and/or attendant duties as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in purchasing and managing MRO commodities
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervising and managing staff
- CPM/APICS desirable; Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred
- Proficiency in Procurement or CMMS and/or EAM Software
- Experience in supply chain management/sourcing and inventory control
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and overseeing a P&L
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask while paying attention to detail
