Heritage Property Management is currently looking for a self-motivated individual to join our team as a Site Inspector. The Site Inspector is responsible for noting architectural violations within a community in accordance with that community’s covenants.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Demonstrates a positive, professional, and client-oriented attitude about the company with homeowners, coworkers and the public whether contact is by telephone, e-mail or in person. Constantly strives for improvements in work processes and results to better meet client's expectations.
  • Inspect a large number of properties and report back to the assigned Community Association Manager and Homeowner Solutions Center Representative in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a self-driven schedule with minimal supervision while maintaining strong attention to detail in work product. Displays a strong work ethic in managing time and efficiently coordinates assignments.
  • Perform a walking or driven inspection of all properties assigned. (The type of inspection will be determined by the layout of the community or what has been requested by the Board of Directors/Manager)
  • Takes self-initiative to make suggestions on how to improve or make processes more efficient.
  • Able to maintain a professional, positive attitude when faced with adversity.
  • Delivers, according to deadlines, on time sensitive tasks or properly communicates with supervisor on delays.
  • During downtime, the Site Inspector will assist in the Homeowner Solutions Center.
  • Inspections are performed Monday through Friday.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

This position reports directly to the Inspection Division Manager..

External Relationships: Frequent contact with homeowners, vendors, and representatives of other businesses.

Internal Relationships: Contact within the department and with other Company staff at all levels.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must have a valid driver’s license including a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to walk properties in order to note violations.
  • Must provide own transportation to and from properties as well as while inspecting.
  • Must have valid insurance on any transportation being used for inspections.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be able to generate basic Excel spreadsheets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Presents ideas in a clear, concise, understandable, and organized manner. As well as can professionally interact with our clients via phone, email or in person.
  • Ability to relate well with others even while working at a distance without the benefit of personal contact. Ability to work in an organized, efficient manner with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion. Must be professional at setting priorities and coping with competing demands.
  • Excellent time-management and general organizational skills.
  • Neat, professional appearance.

Compensation includes a base pay plus an auto allowance.
