Steps to Success is looking for a full time Site Director for our Smoketown location! Hours of operation: 6:15am-9:15am and 3:00pm-6:00pm with 10 hours of planning time a week!
With the School Age Program Administrator, the School Age Site Directors will assist in the following responsibilities:
-Administering finances: purchase needed food & supplies within site budget; grant writing
-Personnel: interviews; staff & management meetings; job counseling & coaching; creating staff schedule within payroll budget; tracking Paid Time Off; maintain staff records and files; problem solving; document staff meetings
-Administering the facility’s program objectives & activities: Continuous Quality Improvement report; communicate with building personnel; OCDEL & STARS requirements.
-Overall program planning: STARS requirements; CQIs; concerns regarding staff and/or clients.
The School Age Site Directors will personally handle the following
responsibilities including but not limited to the following tasks:
-Administering finances: ensure non ACH fees in delivered to corporate office with one week; verify center payroll; monthly subsidized billing; pick up needed supplies from designated location;
ensure completed weekly CACFP meal count sheet arrives at corporate office by noon on Mondays; report food inventory to corporate office weekly.
-Personnel: job counseling/coaching; problem solving; available as required for child ratios; complete annual staff reviews; track & record staff development; maintain site staff schedule; track Paid Time Off; site staff meetings
-Maintenance: In a timely manner, notify the appropriate person of maintenance needs
-Meal Planning & preparation: prepare and serve scheduled AM & PM snacks; food inventory & pre-approved shopping; oversee posting of weekly menus; oversee CACFP implementation at site; use of meal count sheets; oversee CACFP implementation program wide;
-Transportation: notify appropriate person of any transportation issues
-Administering the facility’s program objectives & activities: assist staff in implementation of curriculum; update child’s file information every April & September; verify completion of 45 day observation & child assessments; complete new student enrollments; licensing & STARS requirements.
-Designated as staff person who is responsible for compliance with this chapter in the site Director’s absence.
-Coordinating & planning daily activities: lesson planning; assist and plan curriculum-related special activities; assist in planning summer camps; communicate illness reports for parent; complete classroom self-inspections; parent communication; arrange tours for prospective clients;
-Overall Program planning: verify daily attendance; prepare for biannual DPW inspection including Civil Rights Compliance; annual Keystone STARS reviews including Enrollment Calculation tool and SACERS; cover student: teacher ratio as needed;
-Written evaluation: annual written evaluations of staff; collect data from surveys (School Age in April, Parent in May)
