Job Summary:
Ensures Site compliance with Title 5 & Title 22 regulations at all times. Provide direction, administrative support, and training to all staff. Collaborate with families and the community to assure high-quality early childhood education standards - Maintaining a rating of Tier 5 in Pinwheel.
Summary of essential job functions
Education: Ensure implementation and compliance with all Head Start, Early Head Start (EHS), Quality Preschool Initiative (QPI), and State-Funded Preschool (CSPP) Education requirements. Support and train teachers on all policies and procedures relating to program compliance. Monitor and ensure a high quality of delivery for all areas listed below and ensure a Tier 5 QRIS ratings at your program site.
- Utilize the DRDP 2015 tool and DRDP Tech with all teaching staff, including observations and portfolios
- Monitor observations using the Learning Genie tool
- Support and maintain Tier 5 ECERS classrooms at all times
- Train and support on effective adult-to-child interactions using the CLASS tool and lens
- Schedule two Home Visits per program year
- Schedule two Parent/Teacher Conferences per program year
- Distribute and score the ASQ and ASQ-SE tool. Provide appropriate referrals based upon the results of the tool.
- Pinwheel (Data entry: staff & child attendance, staff education (degrees, permits, units), child demographics, household information, hearing & vision screenings, DRDP results, referrals etc.)
Daily Operations: Provide support, assistance and training to all teaching staff and Assistant Directors. Address all levels of concerns from staff and families and ensure compliance with rules and regulations in relation to the field of Early Childhood Education. Ensure effective daily operations.
Requirements
- Master's degree preferred in ECE
