HDR is hiring a Site Civil Site Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services Group in Orlando, FL.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design of facilities related sites in support of a variety of markets including Commercial, Residential, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, and Federal
- Coordinate and work closely with a multidiscipline design team throughout the entire life cycle of projects from planning stages, through the development of construction documents, and construction administration
- Responsible for the development of construction drawings, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations, as well as the review of shop drawings during construction
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline
- PE license
- Experience in site development and the design of building related Site Civil (grading, utilities, storm drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control)
- Strong operating knowledge of Civil 3D
- Must be self-motivated, collaborative and possess strong leadership skills with an initiative to deliver high quality, technically sound civil site designs
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of modeling software such as ICPR, Hydraflow Storm Sewers, Hydraflow Hydrographs, HydroCAD, Bentley StormCAD
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
- Local candidates are preferred
