REPORTS TO: VP of Multifamily Sales
SUMMARY: A Sales Representative that achieves maximum sales profitability, market share, and account penetration within an assigned territory and our market segment by effectively selling the company’s products.

Summary: A Sales Representative that achieves maximum sales profitability, market share, and account penetration within an assigned group or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Position requires servicing a portfolio of single-family housing Property Management companies with AFB products and services. Key skills include measuring floor coverings, electronic diagraming, data management and building customer relationships through service and consistency.
· Initiate contact with customers to develop new business opportunities through warm calling, joint sales calls, meetings, presentations, and other introductory methods.
· Develop a pipeline of prospective single-family management companies to approach business opportunity.
· Demonstrate the ability to build market share through consultative selling techniques.
· Demonstrate the ability to gather and submit detailed information for pricing and proposal purposes to AFB management and administration team.
· Develop and recommend pricing proposals for consideration to VP of Multifamily Sales for launch to customers.
· Demonstrates aptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for customers.
· Maintain an in-depth understanding of AFB’s product and service offerings, including the AFB Platform, and clearly communicate these to customers to inform and enhance our reputation in the market.
· Communicate and update AFB management both verbally and through RTY documentation, on the status of prospecting, presentations, and negotiations, and establish critical periods, expectations, and other metrics of progress.
· Attend trade shows, conferences, and training programs relevant to the flooring industry.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the associate must be available during the “core” work hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Associate must be willing to occasionally work extended hours, including evening client events.
TRAVEL: Travel is primarily local during the business day.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing or Business preferred. Product knowledge of floor coverings preferred. Skills in measuring floor coverings accurately and timely.
