Full Job Description
E&E Capital Management, LLC, is currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Riverdale, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting maintenance work orders, troubleshooting, and performing repairs in single-Family Homes. This role requires a blend of technical skills and customer service to ensure our properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Essential Duties:
- Utilize technology effectively to receive and process work orders.
- Coordinate with tenants to schedule maintenance appointments.
- Assist in eviction lockouts, including rekeying properties and performing trash outs as necessary.
- Maintain positive and professional interactions with tenants to understand maintenance needs and schedule repairs.
- Liaise with office staff regarding issues requiring external vendor intervention.
- Manage parts ordering and the creation of new work orders for subsequent repairs.
Self-Performance Tasks May Include:
- HVAC diagnostics and repair (HVAC universal license preferred).
- Electrical and plumbing fixes.
- Painting, drywall repair, and carpentry.
- Rekeying, lockset replacements, and installing blinds and fixtures.
- Property securing and trash outs.
- Routine maintenance tasks such as replacing batteries, bulbs, and filters.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- General maintenance experience in a property management context.
- 2+ years of basic property or general facility maintenance experience is preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Familiarity with rental property management standards and practices.
