Normal Work Schedule (Other):: University Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday Position Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.To include some nights and weekends

Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Simulation Coordinator, provides technical and mechanical support for simulation centers of the School of Nursing.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
High school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. Must have extensive experience in computer technology and troubleshooting. Familiarity with PC platforms. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in a related field such as Computer Science and Management Information Technology and/or in the healthcare field. Clinical knowledge and expertise working in a healthcare related field is preferred, but not required.
Additional Comments
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) to interact with and work effectively with other faculty, staff, students, and vendors in a positive, helpful cooperative manner. Experience providing technical support in networking, computer hardware and software. Skills in operating a PC with experience in Microsoft office and the ability to learn additional software programs, including audiovisual and computerized simulation equipment. Knowledge of operation of standard audiovisual and computerized simulation equipment, projectors, microphones, display screens, and media players. Mechanical skills to competently maintain and use equipment in the simulation centers. Organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with attention to detail. Maintain confidentiality of information. Able to learn new technology quickly.
