Job description

The Simulation Lab Student Assistant/Volunteer is responsible for the implementation of lab services directed by the Simulation Lab Staff, Manager, and/or Director.  The Simulation Lab Student Assistant is an important member of the Simulation Lab staff and provides support for the implementation of simulation and skills lab processes as well as and lab space maintenance. Workload is limited to 20 hours per week and/or per University policy.

Simulation Lab Student Assistants

Scope:

  • Prepare space and equipment for skills and Simulation Lab activities
  • Collaborate with Simulation Lab management and staff for appropriate use of equipment and space
  • Assist with inventory, stocking, use, and maintenance of skills and Simulation Lab equipment and supplies 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Supervision:

The Simulation Lab Student Assistant/Volunteer reports directly to the Simulation Lab Program Coordinator, followed by the Site Simulation Lead Faculty, and the Executive Director of Simulation and Experiential Learning.

Required Education:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
