Silk Screen Printer

We are looking for an experienced Screen Printer with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Screen Printer is responsible for performing all duties involved in the screen-printing process from preparing screens for printing and reclaiming the screens, ability to operate & maintain 6 color 6 station manual press. Knowledge about custom ink color mixing is a plus. We are looking for applicants who are dependable, efficient and self-motivated. Must have a high attention to details. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Flexible working hours are available when needed.

The hours are M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Job Duties:

• Help on the production floor with screen printing on garments

• Must have production experience (assembly, machine operator, etc.)

• Attention to detail

• Train other team members

• Work within given deadlines

• You would be on your feet moving about the shop the entire day, with moderate lifting.

EXPERIENCE or Required Skills:

· Must have at least 2 years of experience working in all aspects of commercial screen printing.

· Knowledge of ink mixing, type of inks, additives and substrates.

· Basic understanding of different print locations such as Chests, Sleeves, Pockets and other irregular print locations.

· Self-sufficient and proven ability to manage all aspects of print production.

BASIC FUNCTION: The function of the Screen Printer is to ensure that his or her responsibilities are carried out accurately and timely to produce the very best product and customer service. This position requires a focus on building our brand to represent the very best product and customer service experience possible for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Screen Printer must have knowledge and ability to explain and execute ALL tasks within the screen print department. He/she is responsible for the timely and accurate production of quality screen-printed products that will meet or preferably exceed customer expectations.

DUTIES: Duties will include but are not limited to the following.

• Work within schedule limitations to the best of your ability to maximize productivity.
• Review and evaluate customer orders to ensure proper setup and production including color of garments, correct ink colors, number of garments and overall outlook for the job.
• Maintain quality control standards throughout the printing process including coverage, feel, accuracy, cure and placement.
• Check and record dryer temperatures throughout the day and correct as needed.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Develop and maintain open communications and a harmonious working relationship by interacting with all personnel in a positive manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may from time to time be requested by the company.

Hourly Pay rate: $16-$22 /hour Commensurate to experience
