Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in ASL or Education Interpreting
- State Certification: EIPA, RI, and NIC
- Perform mostly ASL
Details
-American Sign Language interpreter for one of our teachers who is both hearing and speech impaired, specifically for their ASL class.
- Schedule:Block 3A, which takes place every other day from 10:40-12:10. There is the exception of 5 days that the time will change slightly due to having to follow an advisory bell schedule. Those dates are 2/1, 2/15, 3/7, 3/25 and 5/30 and the times will be from 11:00-12:50.
- "We also have periodic days/dates of school wide learning events outside of classroom structure such as February 16, 2024. This date is our Black History Day celebration where our hearing-impaired teacher may request/need an interpreter (even as an observer of these student planned day/events). He previously requested an interpreter for a prior event on 12/21/2023, and may need/request an interpreter for this future date as well (planning for 2-16-2024 still in process). "
