Siemens (TIA Portal) Controls Engineer Opportunities in the Novi, MI Area!
A Michigan based company with a facility in the Novi, MI area is currently seeking several Siemens (TIA Portal) Controls Engineers for long term opportunities with their growing team! These are exciting opportunities for Controls Engineers looking for a company that offers excellent growth and development, reasonable travel, and competitive rates.
Controls Engineer base salary rates are anticipated to be in the $90,000 - $110,000 range annually, plus a bonus up to 10% per year, plus straight time overtime for hours over 45 hours per week, based on each candidate’s experience and education. Qualified Siemens (TIA Portal) Controls Engineers candidates will possess most (if not all) of the following skills and experience:
- 2+ years of experience with TIA Portal PLC programming. Programming for material handling or Conveyor process controls in an Automotive setting or closely related equipment / industry is a benefit, but any Controls Engineers with solid TIA Portal programming experience will be strongly considered.
- 1-2+ years of experience with electrical hardware.
- Must be able to travel up to 30% overnight for following projects into the field for commissioning. Travel is expected to typically be more in the 20 to 25% range.
- A BS / Associates degree in Electrical Engineering is a benefit but not essential. Equivalent Controls Engineering and manufacturing engineering experience will be strongly considered.
- Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
