• Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. NIHSS certification may be required prior to the first shift.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an SICU RN within the last year.
• Strong critical thinking skills as well as the ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care.
• Must show competency with managing ventilators and a variety of neuro, cardiac and trauma devices.
• Strong familiarity with assisting during intubation, chest tube placement, central and arterial line placement, and para/thoracentesis.
• Experience with Covid ICU protocols, CRRT and/or ECMO are a plus.
