The Fairfield Inn & Suites Airport is looking to add a Shuttle Driver to the team! This is a great opportunity to meet people traveling, learn about the hotel industry, and gain Marriott experience. As the primary driver for the property, the Shuttle Driver/ Utility Worker will take responsibility for all guest airport transportation. When on property this individual will provide support to the front office assisting with answering phones, speaking with guests in public areas, guest requests that may include light maintenance and technology trouble shooting for in-room services. This employee should be capable of providing exceptional guest service while transporting guests or assisting the front office.
· Providing safe transportation for guests to and from the airport following all applicable traffic laws and conducting themselves to represent the hotel in a positive manner.
· Greeting guests in a pleasant manner, providing visitor recommendations, engaging in conversation, assisting guests with luggage and opening van doors.
· Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
· Standing/walking, driving, talking on the phone, people skills.
· Must be able to periodically kneel, reach, crawl, and twist torso as needed to accomplish required tasks.
· Must have a valid driver's license and meet the requirements to be an authorized driver.
· Schedule flexibility and ability to work extended and/or irregular hours to include nights, weekends and holidays
· Proactive approach, with exceptional initiative and problem-solving abilities to ensure the highest levels of productivity and guest satisfaction.
· Ability to multi-task and effectively manage numerous priorities within a fast-paced environment.
· All other duties as assigned.
