SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Lead parking operations and administration for both employees and visitors at Uptown campus. Provide input, direction, and support for parking efforts at satellite locations. Develop, lead, direct, and manage shuttle route and transportation operations for employees and visitors. Plans and coordinates fleet operations; including acquisition, scheduling, maintenance service, repair, fueling, and disposal of hospital vehicles.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Shuttle Operation
Operate, on a scheduled basis, a CCHMC shuttle Bus or any other CCHMC vehicle. Provide transportation to and from off-site parking and between campus and off campus sites
Vehicle Maintenance
Maintain a clean and safe vehicle. Ensure work areas are organized and present a safe, accessible, effective and efficient environment. Provide a safe and smooth shuttle experience for employees and visitors.
Compliance
Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations involved within the Commercial Driver Licensure.
Customer Service
Meet and exceed expectations through consistent delivery of customer service to passengers and visitors.
Special Assignments
Perform other driving duties as needed for Joint Commission visits, Re-entry outings for rehab patients, and Mobile Care Clinics.
Qualifications:EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
- Maintain current DOT physical card AND valid Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement
