Job Description: Showroom Sales & Marketing Coordinator with Front-Facing Customer Responsibilities
Position Overview: We are seeking a high energy, task oriented, self motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Showroom Sales & Marketing Coordinator with Front-Facing Customer Responsibilities. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our showroom while delivering exceptional customer service to visitors. The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Front-Facing Customer Service:
- Greet and welcome showroom visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor capturing lead flow and booking appointments
- Assist customers in navigating the showroom, providing product information, and addressing inquiries.
- Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, offering tailored recommendations and solutions.
- Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in person or over the phone in a calm and efficient manner, escalating issues as needed.
2. Administrative Support:
- Coordinate appointment scheduling for consultations and installations, ensuring timely coordination and follow-up with customers to ensure we deliver five star customer experiences
- Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing showroom, including product displays and promotional materials.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately and efficiently
- Keep track of customer interactions and inquiries using salesforce
- Support local design team with paperwork and client communication.
- Order and maintain inventories of promotional items for your market/showroom
3. Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams, conveying customer feedback and preferences.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide insights on customer behavior and trends.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and company policies.
4. Administrative Tasks:
- Handle phone inquiries and direct calls to appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer information, orders, and interactions.
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation with tight timelines and daily submissions
5. Marketing Tasks:
- Assist in creating local marketing materials, including blog posts, social media content, and email campaigns.
- Submit creative work orders through our corporate support digital asset manager
- Collaborate with designers and other team members to develop compelling content.
- Help manage and maintain local social media platforms (facebook, instagram and linkedin)
- Plan and coordinate marketing events, trade shows, and showroom open house in local market.
- Analyze marketing data and sales metrics to gain insights to optimize strategies and make recommendations
- Join monthly marketing calls with leadership to review performance and align strategies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or coursework is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or administrative roles is preferred.
- 1 Year Marketing/Social Experience preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of Custom Storage is an advantage.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box as a self starter are preferred.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital trends.
- Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, and Canva experience a must.
Working Conditions:
- This position primarily operates within a showroom environment.
- Regular interaction with customers, requiring a professional appearance and demeanor.
- May involve standing for extended periods and lifting/moving supplies as needed.
- Set schedule 9:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday at our showroom facilities
