Shot Peen Operator - 3Rd Shift

Location: Seattle, WA
Type: Full-Time
Schedule:3rd Shift(Plus a shift differential)
Valence Surface Technologies production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.), 3rd Shift (Sunday - Friday, 9:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.)
Job Summary:

• Ensure that the production process is carried out in a safe manner according to the goals set by the company and
  maximize throughput
• Determine usage of different machines according to customer requirements
• Anticipate and overcome production related problems, material shortages, equipment malfunctions, and
  unavoidable delays where possible and plan to reduce their impact on the operation
• Perform daily tests to determine size and shape of media
• Run test specimens and provide to customer as required
• Coordinate company projects and programs designed to support different initiatives
• Communicate with customer service on recovery dates and expected completion dates for processing
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines and submit maintenance requests for further maintenance
  work
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Education - High School Graduate or General Education Degree (Required)
• Experience - Two years of experience in aerospace

Work Environment
Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
