Get paid while you train to be a U.S. Coast Guard-certified Tankerman! Loadstar Tankerman Academy's training program will allow you to become a licensed tankerman in the booming petrochemical industry, where you can earn more than $90,000 annually! No experience needed.

The Loadstar Tankerman Academy is a four-month program and includes a combination of classroom instruction and one-on-one field training. For more information, we encourage you to apply online. Upon successful completion and graduation from the Loadstar Tankerman Academy training program and receipt of the Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) from the Coast Guard, the Tankerman Trainee will be eligible for continued employment with Loadstar as a Level 1 Tankerman. During the tankerman training program, trainees will earn $17 / hour, and upon full-time employment with Loadstar as a licensed tankerman, you will receive a compensation increase.
