JOB SUMMARY

Supports the Sales and Marketing teams by providing Shopper analysis and insights. Utilizing shopper data, performs analysis to inform business strategy and planning decisions, product and innovation strategies, marketing programs, and customer account management.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manages shopper insight development, panel and loyalty data partners, and developing annual Shopper Insights project plan to support all channels of Litehouse business.
  • Synthesizes the results of insight projects into a deep understanding of shoppers and uses that knowledge to support product development, achieving sales revenue growth goals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
  • Utilize data sources (including IRI, Nielsen, Numerator, retailer portals) to analyze shopper trends, supporting a holistic annual Shopper Insights annual plan. Present analytical insights, results, and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Work with Brand and Marketing teams to support strategy development through Shopper Insights analysis and quarterly reporting.
  • Partners with Sales team to develop retailer-specific Shopper Insights for Business Planning, presenting findings to both internal and external teams.
  • Provide expertise to internal teams on all things related to shopper panels, retailer loyalty card data programs, and annualized shopper research.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience performing shopper or category insights, supporting sales initiatives, innovation and trends mining experience with a proven track record of driving base business growth and customer satisfaction.

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A successful person in this role will passionately speak the voice of the shopper to drive, inspire and influence decision making that propels Litehouse's business forward.
  • Experience with Shopper Panel and Retailer Loyalty data providers.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects.
  • Strong Data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Ability to create advanced reports, business recommendations, and strategic insights using shopper and market data.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, other employees and the general public.
  • Understanding of CPG Shopper, Market, and Consumer data programs, including the vendors and customers that provide them.
  • Excellent project management skills. This role will be managing multiple priorities as well as working and leading across teams and meeting deadlines.
  • Building and executing an annual insights plan that supports both internal business partners and external customers.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express complicated strategy recommendations.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Must be a highly structured, disciplined, organized and motivated individual with a keen sense of attention to detail.
