Job description

General Purpose

As a Shopify Plus Coordinator on our eCommerce team, you will be responsible for supporting all ecommerce efforts including uploading and modifying products, implementing promotions & marketing content, conversion rate and performance improvement initiatives, and functionality optimization. This person will demonstrate a strong ability to prioritize, work cross-functionally with other departments, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Direct to Consumer.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Ecommerce Coordinator supports the areas of digital marketing strategy and execution across all ecommerce driven channels and platforms of the business
  • This role helps to manage the day-to-day activities of one or more brand websites, web apps, and sales channels, support the team's focus in areas of promotional strategies, ongoing development projects, and the simultaneous onboarding of new technologies
  • Assists with the areas of end-to-end product assortments, collecting and merchandising best practices, web content sync and setup, in path content strategies, customer journey, heat mapping, AB testing, UI/UX optimizations, and detailed buying behaviors
  • May also support preparing reporting and audits of current procedures to monitor and improve the efficiency of digital marketing communications and conversion
  • The ideal candidate must be a motivated and confident self-starter, critical and strategic thinker, analytical, data-driven, highly detail oriented, quick to implement, and continually seek to improve upon KPIs to drive e-commerce revenue from all channels
  • The Ecommerce Coordinator must be comfortable and confident in supporting all primary digital ecommerce channel recommendations and their nuances, quickly adjusting and pivoting strategy as needed, continually providing strategic recommendations to the greater marketing team, and consistently aligning the brand to our target audiences
  • From merchandising to product storytelling, to aligning campaign launches and go-to market strategies to achieve brand goals, the Ecommerce Coordinator must be comfortable wearing many hats with a sound understanding of digital product representation, consumer shopping habits, and onsite tactics that drive sales and conversion while identifying new trends and opportunities for best in class in digital commerce
  • Shopify Plus Website & Product Page Management
  • Updating & creating product pages inclusive of custom development tools and functionality
  • Updating website copy to support all communication
  • Updating & creating collections with support in active and ongoing merchandising
  • Assist in pushing sitewide seasonal sales and promotions live to website and relevant channels
  • Audit product launch content to ensure the utmost accuracy on the website
  • Support product catalog auditing and ongoing maintenance cross-channel
  • Liasson between the Ecommerce, Marketing, and IT Departments
  • Project managing & coordinating various simultaneous projects with various departments
  • Support day to day email marketing tasks including ideation, calendar updates, creative briefs, copywriting, asset coordination, template building, approval routing, scheduling and deployments
  • Review competitor websites to ensure industry alignment with categorization, promotions and trends
  • Maintain assortment plans to track all product related activities
  • Manage new flow process of products to the site, tracking and organizing all product assets to guarantee products are live in time for inventory to arrive
  • Support in the tracking of inventory, communication of delays and shortages in order to mitigate potential business impact
  • Work closely with the photo studio to ensure approval, processing and publishing of all product images
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Education/ Years of Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
  • 3 + years experience


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics (KSAO's)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & G-Suite
  • Strong Shopify+, Klaviyo Email, SMS, and Website Management Skills
  • Proficient understanding of operational workflows within a digital tech stack including ERP systems and warehouse management systems
  • Knowledge of business principles, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
  • Able to adapt to competing demands with the highest level of service and response
  • Must be available and willing to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in web-based analytics tools and Excel
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that requires the ability to multi-task and implement high priority initiatives
  • Self-starter with exceptional communication, presentation, and project management skills
  • "T" shaped by nature, and enjoy working with a flat cross-functional team
  • Ability to communicate and deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels in a professional manner

What We Offer:

Salary range for this position: $72,680 - $103,155/Yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
