Fineline Steel Fabrication has immediate openings for SHOP WELDERS/FABRICATORS to work at our steel fabrication facility. Previous experience with dual shield welding process is a plus as well as experience with structural steel fabrication. This is a full time position, must be able to work overtime as needed. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, pass a background check and have reliable transportation to get to and from work. Personal welding equipment and tools are required.
Additional requirements for the position include:
- Proficient in assigned welding techniques.
- Ability to read and comprehend shop drawings.
- Running iron worker, plasma cutter, band saw.
- Interpretation of drawings, including weld requirement symbols.
- Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up (amps, volts, etc.).
- Conventional and precision measuring instruments.
- Process inspection, certification, and documentation.
- Welding equipment maintenance.
- Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools.
- Safety and Housekeeping.
