Ship/Rec Clerk Ii

Summary: Hiring a Ship/Rec/Stores Clerk II with at least 2 years of experience and knowledge in production-related systems.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

• Knowledge of production-related systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education

• May require vocational or technical education or certification

Responsibilities:

• Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties

• Use computer system for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting

• Follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules, and requirements

• Receive incoming materials or prepare materials for shipment

• Verify quantity, weight, conformance of materials to stated identifications; log receipt of items on system

• Process freight bills, packing sheets, other documents; report materials shipped and bills of lading; post weight and shipping charges; route merchandise to destinations

• Provide support in manufacturing operations or distribution centers including assembly, machinery processing, packaging or distribution of company products

• Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines in continuous production/processing operation

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
