Shipping/Warehouse Associate

We currently have a seven member shipping team and need to add one more! Our ideal candidate will want 35-40 hours per week, but we can be flexible by offering more or less than 35-40 hours for the right candidate.

If you are cheerful, willing to learn, and can help organize/ship products in a warehouse, we'd like to talk to you. You'll need to be good at handling multiple purchase orders under deadlines with attention to detail. As part of a small shipping team, you'll support our sales team to ensure our customers receive their orders in perfect condition on a timely basis. Your reliability can improve our team chemistry and make a difference for the company.

Responsibilities:
Willingness to be trained thoroughly
Read purchase orders and shipping documentation
Pick/pull products from shelves according to purchase orders
Handle multiple purchase orders simultaneously
Follow a shipping schedule on time
Coordinate with Sale Department on priorities
Prepare for UPS, FedEx, and freight pickups
Pack/palletize raw product correctly
Palletize freight correctly
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse
Load trucks with a forklift
Stock shelves in a neat and orderly manner
Adhere to safety standards
Powder coating
Prepare products for powder coating
Assemble products
Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:
Be positive in a team environment
Be punctual and reliable in your attendance
Have excellent communication skills
Be a self-starter with good time management skills
Able to lift 50lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally
Forklift experience is a plus, but we will train
Powder Coat is a plus, but we will train.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
