```Job Overview```

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Manager to join our team. As the Shipping & Receiving Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the order fulfillment process in our distribution center. This includes managing inventory control, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring efficient operations within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management and possess strong leadership skills.

You will be working alone at least 3 days per week and on your feet all day. You must be responsible, punctual, reliable, and motivated. Being able to regularly lift and move heavy objects and be able to qualify to drive a company vehicle are mandatory.

Annual bonuses are paid out based on company and individual performance.

```Responsibilities```

- Pick, package, and ship all customer orders. Ensure all orders each day are accurately fulfilled and shipped in time for daily pickups from shipping carriers

- Monitor, reply to, and resolve customer inquiries and issues via email throughout the day

- Oversee the receiving process, including unloading trucks, inspecting shipments, and verifying accuracy of received items

- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments

- Ensure proper storage and organization of received items in the warehouse

- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize errors and improve efficiency

- Train and supervise a team of receiving associates, providing guidance and support as needed

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of goods throughout the distribution center

- Monitor and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols

- Conduct regular audits to assess inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement

- Utilize warehouse management systems to track shipments, monitor inventory levels, and generate reports

```Qualifications```

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a distribution center or warehouse environment

- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
