Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities:
-Coordinating and delegating Shipping and Receiving paperwork to floor employees.

-Processing Shipping and Receiving paperwork.

-Filing paperwork and answering emails.

-Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders
- Unpack, label, and organize items in the warehouse
- Inspect and report any damaged or missing items to the appropriate department
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and update records in the system
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, order pickers, and forklifts to move and stack materials
- Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with order picking, basic math, and order fulfillment processes
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, order pickers, and forklifts safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing and inventory management
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.83 - $23.88 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
