Shipping Team Lead- 2Nd Shift + Differential

• Oversee order processing packaging and shipment of all orders, according to KNA processes and specifications.
• Monitor daily metrics for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Assist the Shipping Manager by monitoring and ensuring that adequate packaging supplies are maintained.
• Work with the Shipping Manager on maintaining housekeeping within the assigned area.
• Ensure outgoing shipments are examined to verify shipments meet all specifications.
• Interact well with coworkers and assigned employees by treating them all in a fair and consistent manner with dignity and respect.

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

• High school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two to four years of related experience is required.
• Experience in Microsoft Office, SAP, Outlook, and Internet usage.
• At least 2 years of forklift operator experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with arms and hands.
• Standing for 8 hours and frequent walking required.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to airborne particles.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually high, proper protective equipment is required.
