The Shipping Specialist will support our customers in shipping department's operations, including material handling, packaging, and shipping procedures Mon thru Fri. • Temp to hire position in 90 days (meeting hiring criteria)

- Earn up to $17.75 per hour to start - depending on experience

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Learn all aspects of the shipping department's operations, including material handling, packaging, and shipping procedures.
• Assist in packaging and labeling products for domestic and international shipments using FedEx and UPS.
• Receive incoming shipments, inspecting them for accuracy and completeness, and recording relevant information.
• Organize and maintain shipping and receiving records and documentation.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and on-time shipments.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30PM
Requirements/Skills:

• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player.
• Downtime projects.
• Attendance is a critical function

Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous shipping experience.
• FedEx/UPS familiarity.
