SalaryAerospace company is looking for a Shipping & Receiving associate on their 1st shift.
Role and Responsibilities
· Stamps parts.
· Wraps product in appropriate boxes.
· Prepares packages for shipping.
· Prepares paperwork.
· Seals up packages and sends out packages determining best method of shipment.
· Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Sends to appropriate person.
· May operate forklift to move or hoist shipments.
- Must have a clean driving record, may be needed to do local drop offs.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· High School Diploma preferred. Some prior experience of Shipping and Receiving responsibilities.
Preferred Skills
· Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Mathematical Skills/Reasoning Ability: Basic math skills.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Excel and Word software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
