Shipping & Receiving in Canton, MA

Westaff is looking for 1st shift Shipping and Receiving Associate in the Canton, MA area for immediate start!

Payrate: $20/hour
Shift: 830am-5pm Monday-Friday
Temp to perm opportunity!
Work location: Canton, MA

Job Summary: Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position will actively pick materials and deliver product to assigned departments as required as well as manage inventory accuracy.

Essential Responsibilities:
Pick orders utilizing a handheld RF scanner
Enter transactions in inventory system
Put material away into bin locations using forklift or order picker
Move product to appropriate storage area
Break-down product for recycling
Able to read instructions
Lift up to 50 lbs

Experience:
2+ years’ experience in material handling
Experience operating a forklift, prior certification preferred
Qualifications:
Possess basic Math Skills
Be able to work independently and also work effectively as a team
Operate warehouse equipment including forklift and pallet jack
Good Communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Able to lift 50 pounds
Have basic Computer Skills (Data Entry)
