Job Summary:
This is a 1st Shift Monday – Friday 9am to 6pm. This position will primarily perform manual shipping and receiving of delicate aerospace components. Additional activities include learning and operation of various automated inspection equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adherence to operational, safety and emergency procedures.
- Handle delicate aerospace parts with specific handling requirements.
- Perform physical shipping and receiving activities.
- Perform visual inspection of parts for observable defects and serialization.
- Sort incoming and outgoing product by part type and serial number.
- Generate workflow, process, and shipping documentation.
- Interface directly with internal and external customers.
- Assist the Workflow Supervisor to establish and maintain priorities.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying, stand, stoop, walk and lift without restrictions.
Basic Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree(or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years experience in part handling and scheduling or equivalent.
- U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- 6 months experience with Quality management systems.
Additional Information:
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.
