Shipping Logistics & Order Fullfilment

Job Summary:

Provides a variety of operational assistance to Smart Cookie Barkery by fullfilling customer orders in a variety of channels, focusing on managing the status and delivery of inbound and outbound Shipping Logistics, and inventory management of opperational supplies.

Responsibilities:

-Oversee the receiving process, including unloading and inspection and documentation of incoming shipments

- Unload trucks using a pallet jack or forklift

- Sort, label, and store incoming products in designated warehouse locations

- Manage the outbound shipment process, including picking, packing, purchasing shipping labels and loading of orders for small pacel shipments and multipule pallets shipments

- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate shipping schedules and resolve any discrepancies or issues

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency

-Responsible for coordinating on time delivery of purchase orders from supplier to Smart Cookie Barkery warehouse, keeping the system updated on status, notify management and following up with suppliers or freight companies for any delays.

-Coordinate innventory logs with purchase orders and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and goods

-Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of customer orders, noifying management of any delayed orders, problem solving to ensure orders arrive in a timely mannor.

-Monitor and manage order fulfillment processes to meet customer demand and service level agreementsImplement efficient order picking and packing strategies to minimize errors and optimize productivity.

-Follow inventory control procedures to optimize inventory accuracy and minimize stockouts

-Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records

-Manage inventory and order operational supplies to ensure supplies are always in stock.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices

-Performs other related duties, as assigned

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role preferred
- Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklift
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and calculations
- Knowledge of distribution center operations and processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
