SUMMARY
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving shipments to customers and/or suppliers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Fulfill job material and sales order requirements by reviewing pick lists and labeling material for outbound shipments
- Insure accuracy of all orders.
- Organize all outbound shipments
- Complete required documentation per customer specifications
- Work with warehouse personnel to ensure inventory accuracy
- Package product for shipment in accordance with company packaging requirements
- Utilize fork truck for staging product for shipment
- Must be able to act as a final check in a quality control process.
- Communicate with all departments to organize shipments
- Follows and complies with mandated ISO quality procedures at all times and assists with periodic review of related policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Two years related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and training.
- Inventory Control Experience preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and Microsoft Outlook.
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Observe safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly
- Comfortable presenting information and responding to questions from managers, co-workers, and vendors.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Routinely performs repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching, lifting and pulling
