SalaryShipping and Receiving
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborates and communicates with customer service representatives, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments, completes shipping log.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables, completes receiving log.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
- Store received items in an organized and timely manner
- Clears pallets from deliveries in a timely manner
- Organizes and maintains overstock storage area, on a regular basis
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Provides additional backup support for production department, as needed.
Work Hours Monday through Friday 9 to 3:30 (may extend to 4:30-5 depending on shipping load for the day)
Shipping and Receiving Qualifications/Skills:
- Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
- Receiving, stocking, and stacking
- Pulling, packing, and loading
- Prepare shipping labels and any and all required international shipping paperwork.
- Complete FedEx, UPS and DHL ship management fields, accurately and completely to create shipments that are billed/allocated properly
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Microsoft Office (for logs and other required documentation)
- Adobe or other PDF editing program (shipping documentation preparation, editing, signature and saving).
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months logistics, Shipping and Receiving experience preferred
- Familiarity with Teams chat preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
