Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the GM Defense Production Facility on a full-time basis (shift is four (4) 10's, Monday-Thursday)
The Role:
As a leader in Supply Chain, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of individual contributors. Position will be responsible for developing new processes, standards, and leading analysis and issue resolution in support of the organization’s business strategies with a direct impact on overall business results. As well as managing inventory but receiving and shipping materials in a timely manner. Lead a team and provide employee development, training, and drive the performance management process as well as manage an efficient organizational structure.
Responsibilities:
Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives. Guides of one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives. Position communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers.
Receive and ship material in (SAP and MGO)
Manage a team of material operators to support productions needs
Ability to understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production
Collaborate cross functionally to develop creative solutions
Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership
Ability to problem tackle complete issues and implement new and innovative strategies
Deep understanding of Supply Chain functions

Quick response to safety instructions, alarms, and signals are a must
Drive vehicles and equipment when needed
Comfortably wear personal protective equipment
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
Navigate a busy warehouse
Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach
May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 40 lbs. depending on department
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of work experience
