Job Description:
Uni-Cast has an immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiving Administrator. This position is responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of all products, materials and supplies.
Key skills for Shipping and Receiving:
- Following receiving, packaging and shipping procedures
- Ensuring that shipments are properly labeled
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for any damages, defects or discrepancies
- Verify accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders and/or packing lists
- Filling out receiving and shipping logs
- Sort and stock receivables
- Ensure proper storage and handing of incoming and outgoing products
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages
- Communicate with shipping administrator and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
- Maintain a clean and organized area
- Unload trucks and deliveries as needed
- Basic computer skills
- Using UPS/other shipper internet software
- Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Requirements for Shipping and Receiving:
- High School or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- Certification in operation of fork lift
- Shipping and Receiving experience
- Able to lift heavy objects
- Work in a fast paced environment
***This is a full-time position, occasional over-time required at busy times of the month.
****Hiring Bonus - up to $2,000
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
