Job Description
Verify & keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Keep all roll stock material staged in an organized matter.
- Receive, put away, and distribute all products physically received in the plant.
- Assists and perform cycle counts.
- Keep Run and Hold inventories accurate.
- Keep stock label areas organized to Abbott Label expectations.
- Assist and perform all warehouse inventory counts for all products.
- Oversee all warehouse entries for the Georgia warehouse and be able to perform all warehouse and related functions including entering information into Abbott Label ERP system.
- Be available to assist production needs upon request i.e. packing, bindery etc.
- Verify product quantities on all shipments.
- Arrange and process transfer of product to other warehouses.
- Process and ship Direct Ship’s to customers.
- Process and execute “Rush” shipments in an efficient manner
- Other shipping tasks, etc.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or some equivalent
- 18 years or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
Preferred Skills
- Able to work with a manual and electric pallet jack
- Forklift Experience a plus
- Experience in Flexographic Industry a plus
Additional Notes
- Able to bend and twist. Able to lift up to 40lbs. Able to be on your feet all day. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Overtime will be required based on production requirements.
