We are looking for a Bilingual English/Spanish and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk with attention to detail. The shipping clerk is responsible for recording shipping orders on the computer system, labeling items and packing items into containers for shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and compare them with the purchase orders to ensure accuracy
- Unload and unpack items from delivery trucks and inspect them for damage or defects
- Sort, label, and store items in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring that all necessary documentation is included
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and update the system accordingly
- Operate pallet jacks to move items within the warehouse
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular cycle counts and reporting any discrepancies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment
Skills:
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting preferred
- Proficiency in order picking and packing procedures
- Familiarity with using RF scanners for inventory management
- Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving processes, including load/unload procedures
- Experience with E-commerce platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus
