Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Shipping and Receiving Associate. In this position you will be responsible for managing materials and inventory, managing ship schedules, and loading and unloading materials. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop your skills in the millwork field.
Responsibilities:
- Follows shipping tickets with great attention to detail, to ensure deliveries are complete and on time.
- Organized and efficient with record keeping and reporting of shipments and backordered items.
- Demonstrates consistent time management and efficiency in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Packages and loads finished product to the shipping truck.
- Ensures product shipped meets quality standards.
- Recieves and inspects incoming materials and sheet goods.
- Operates a barcode scanner to track inventory in Project Pak
- Properly labels and stores materials.
- Communicates with other departments to coordinate shipping activities.
- Previous Shipping and Receiving experience.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Familiar with architectural millwork and commercial casework
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings/blueprints.
- A can-do mindset and willing to work as a team
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
