Salary```Overview:
We are currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at our distribution center. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receive small vials of chemical compounds for scientific research.
- Be familiar with laboratory safety environments.
- Match with customer orders and prepare shipping paperwork.
- Package and Ship out in a safety compliant and timely manner.
- Answer customer phone calls regarding price and availability.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents
- Unload, unpack, and inspect packages for damages or defects
- Sort and organize received items in designated storage areas
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders
- Operate RF scanners to track inventory movement and ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with other team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Must be punctual and attentive to daily shipping schedules.
- Must be able to work independently to solve occasional problems.
- Knowledge of chemistry, including basic lab procedures and equipment, a plus.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet usage.
Skills:
- Previous experience in e-commerce or warehouse environment preferred
- Familiarity with Shipping and Receiving processes
- Ability to accurately pick orders using RF scanners
- Knowledge of order fulfillment procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
