Shipper/Receiver

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving process in our warehouse. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center.

Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents
- Unload, inspect, and stock received items onto shelves
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items
- Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and update records
- Operate reach trucks and order pickers to move stock within the warehouse
- Use RF scanners to scan barcodes and ensure accurate inventory management
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse
- Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and measurements

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a distribution center or warehouse preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners is a plus
- Ability to operate reach trucks and order pickers safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods of time
