Shipper/Packer

Responsibilities:

• Pack and ship orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist with warehouse distribution activities, including receiving and storing incoming shipments
• Pick and pack items according to order specifications
• Load and unload trucks as needed
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials

Experience:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Ability to stand and lean for a large portion of the day (this is a physically demanding position)
• Applying critical thinking to each shipment as every shipment is unique and requires individual attention
• Understand measurements and have the ability to solve basic math
• Ability to use basic tools proficiently (knife, tape measure, straight edge, etc.)
• Ability to use a Computer and Excel
• Willing to assist with other tasks when the need arises

This position is mostly tasked with taking oversized corrugated pads and making custom boxes as well as packaging and palletization of engines, transmissions, and similar items We are looking for a person that is responsible, a team player, and willing to put in an honest days work. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
