Shift Supervisor

Freeway Lanes Bowling in Selma, CA is looking for one Shift Supervisor to join our 20 person strong team. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the General Manager on a daily basis with staffing and training of all hourly staff, cost control, service standards, operational procedures and policies, guest relations, sanitation, environmental control, cash handling, staff motivation, and safety and security. The Shift Supervisor must be the leader of the shift and create an environment that encourages ownership and accountability. Shift Supervisors are expected to maintain the quality and ethical standards set by Freeway Lanes.

Responsibilities

• Cash handling duties including preparation of tills, change fund maintenance, and preparation of deposits
• Responsible for taking a proactive approach to guest relations, including time spent on floor interacting with and greeting guests, lane visits, etc.
• Ensuring that cashier personnel adhere to correct cash handling procedures
• Ensuring that all staff are adhering to company policies and providing outstanding customer service
• Contributing to schedules and employee communications
• Assist with staff training and employee relations
• Corresponding with and providing regular reports to Management
• Maintaining the effective operational feasibility of the center
• Maintaining the highest standard of facility appearance including storage areas and parking lot
• Ability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays, as well as overtime to support business needs
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Experience in high volume Family Entertainment Center Business
• Interest and/or knowledge of Bowling
• Proven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage staff
• Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
• Strong computer/POS skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make independent decisions and judgement in keeping with the level of the position
• Maintain all safety procedures

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $20.00 - $25.00/hour.
