We are looking for motivated Brain Injury Specialists for our NeuroRehab program located in Brick, NJ that are passionate about providing quality care in a positive and empathetic manner. Our Brain Injury Specialists must have a strong desire to work with people recovering from traumatic brain injury (TBI), acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions.
About Bancroft's NeuroRehab Program:
For those requiring supervised living, Bancroft NeuroRehab offers an array of residential group homes and apartments in attractive communities throughout central New Jersey. Services include customized supervision, access to social, recreational and spiritual activities, behavioral programming and more. We provide transportation to and from day programs, outpatient rehabilitation services, medical appointments and community activities.
Supervises the overall operations, activities, and overall environment of the program site within direct areas of responsibility and for assigned shift.
Provides supervision and oversight to direct reports within direct areas of responsibility on assigned shift:
- Provides ongoing leadership, advice, training, feedback, and guidance to staff regarding a) the conducting of functional analysis and treatment sessions for assigned persons served and b) the daily care, instruction, and safety of persons served at assigned program site as outlined in the Individual Program Plan (IPP), Annex A, and/or program descriptions;
- Ensures proper staffing levels and work distribution within assigned program site in accordance with levels of supervision, Annex A, and/or program descriptions;
- Conducts regular staff meetings and attends program management meetings to promote a constant flow of information, open discussions, knowledge sharing, and to keep staff well-informed;
- Manages the ongoing job performance of direct reports; develops and communicates performance goals, completes performance evaluations within established timeframes; provides feedback, develops and takes action on performance improvement plans, and determines and implements disciplinary action as needed;
- Supports the professional development and career growth of direct reports by identifying and providing ongoing training and certification attainment in accordance with state licensing regulations and any accreditation standards, as applicable within area of responsibility.
High School diploma or equivalent required with two-three years in the Human Services or related field. Prior management experience and a strong desire to work with neurologically-challenged individuals preferred. BA in a related field plus one year of related experience preferred.
