Shift Leader

Fast Lane Foods/Subway is a fast-growing, locally owned business and is looking for an energetic and dedicated leader to help grow our team. Responsibilities

• Lead our team of servers and help develop a culture of teamwork and guest service
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and the overall dining experience
• Assist with daily dining room operations, including setting up orders for customers, taking down serving dishes, clearing away tables, stocking food and beverages, etc.
• Assist in training and developing new team members
• Oversee cashier duties including receipt of payments, counting cash and checking the money in drawers for proper accounting
• Coordinate with management regarding any issues or problems that arise during opening or closing procedures
• Oversee opening or closing procedures for dining room areas, including cleaning up the dining area before customers arrive, preparing food orders as needed before the orders are placed on the table, ensuring that all customers receive excellent service throughout their meal (e.g., cleaning up the dining area after each customer)
• Ensure that all employees follow safety guidelines at all times
• Maintain professional communication with other employees and management (e.g. through phone calls)
• Other duties as assigned by management (e.g. cleaning duties)

Skills

• Proven experience as a lead lead shift manager or similar position in restaurant (preferred but not required)
• Excellent knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods in order to provide authentic food experiences to customers
• Familiarity with cashier duties including processing payments and counting money over all check drawers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Shift:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends

Experience:

• Basic math: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Required)
• Night Shift (Required)

Job-related location requirement:

• Candidates must be within a 25-mile radius.
