In order to perform the activities assigned to you, we expect that you will:
- Be knowledgeable of and strictly comply with all food safety procedures
- Be attentive and extremely courteous to our guests
- Be knowledgeable of all recipes presented in the menu
As a Shift Leader, Some of your core activities will include, but not be limited to:
- Develop and motivate a staff of employees capable of meeting the shop’s objectives
- Assign tasks to partners and ensure that they are doing them correctly and efficiently
- Should employees require reprimanding or commit errors, the Shift Leader must either resolve the issue or alert the General Manager, depending on the situation
- Oversee the production of food and beverage items to make sure employees are distributing food that is of the appropriate temperature and quality
- Lead opening and closing procedures, and ensure that all duties are performed correctly
- Set an example for employees in all areas
- Maintain a list of cleanliness and operation guidelines set by a governing agency, typically a local or state health organization
- Maintain company standards and ensure employees uphold them as well
- Motivate team to comply with loss control procedures and to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and others
- Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior customer service experience required
- Prior management experience required
