Description

Executes deliverables in support of the Supply Chain organization's business objectives. Guide the team in the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including safety, quality, responsiveness, people, and financial initiatives.

§  Communicate to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions within the facility.

§  Monitor and control manpower levels within the Supply Chain department and work with group leaders to insure efficient manpower utilization

§  Work with group leaders to develop optimization opportunities within Supply Chain operations utilizing new technologies when possible

§  Understand and assess complex Supply Chain issues and lead teams in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to production and shipping

§  Assess customer schedules and impact on production and shipping requirements

§  Collaborate cross functionally to develop creative solutions

§  Analyze department metrics supporting production and shipping and develop action plans as needed to meet KPI’s

§  Problem solve issues to find the root cause and implement new and innovative strategies to resolve the problem

§  Work with Supply ChainShift Leaders on other shifts to develop common processes to be used on all 3 shifts

Additional Description

§  College degree or equivalent experience

§  Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing facility

§  Experience working in a Supply Chain organization

§  Strong knowledge and skills in MS Office applications

§  High level of problem-solving skills and analytical ability

§  Strong interpersonal communication skills to work cross functionally with other departments as well as all levels of the organization

§  Strong oral and written communication skills

§  Understanding of problem solving process

The role will include relocation benefit for candidate that lives 50 or more miles from location.

This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report on a full-time basis.
