The Shelter House Manager/Case Manager will split their time between the two core functions:
Shelter House Manager: Payroll, procurement (office supplies, gas for vans, shelter supplies such as food and bedding), menu and meal preparation, working with vendors (plumbing, electrical, etc.), other tasks as needed to maintain the safe operation of the shelter.
Case Manager: Works directly with youth and their families to support them and alleviate family crisis. The case manager will work with community partners (schools, counseling agencies, other non-profits) to identify youth who are homeless or who have runaway and connect these youth with our program services.
Th Shelter House Manager/Case Manager candidate must have a bachelor degree in human services or a related field. Previous experience working in a residential setting, working with vulnerable youth, and conducting community outreach is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
