SalaryThis position will be Wednesday - Saturday from 4pm to midnight with the possibility of additional shifts. Full time position Family Services Specialist position will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all families at the shelter. Ensuring the building is clean and rooms are prepared for new families. Updating paperwork and client records, as needed. Working to instill hope and providing appropriate support and guidance to families on their journey to stabilization.
Qualifications: Documented experience working with families from all walks of life including individuals who are low income, homeless, developmentally disabled or those with mental health challenges, deep belief that all people deserve dignity and respect, excellent problem-solving skills, able to diffuse situations and help families regain hope, able to communicate well with clients, co-workers and the public, ability to maintain professional boundaries, to work holidays that fall in your normally scheduled days, and to pass a PA State Police Clearance, Childline Clearance and FBI Clearance
