The Sheeter is responsible for producing neat and accurate sheets to be used on the Lithographic Press. The sheeter will ensure proper size and quality of sheets produced. An ideal candidate is someone with a solid work ethic, good attendance, and close attention to detail

- $.55 2nd shift pay differential / $1.50 3rd shift pay differential

Responsibilities:
- Determine and prioritize which jobs to run based on production schedule needs.
- Verify feed sizes, sheet size, and material code all match specification sheet.
- Mount and web rolls of paper, adjust web guide and roll stand width to position rolls correctly.
- Adjust belts and slitter knives to produce neat piles and accurate cuts.
- Communicate in system any special attention items with products being passed down the line.
- Check quality of sheets to ensure they are wrinkle free, correct size, and integrity of material is intact.
- Ensure smooth operation and pace of production line.
- Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of work area/production zone.
- Related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Exhibits a safety-first attitude in all that is done, from proper personal protection equipment compliance to keeping the work environment safe and hazard-free. Compliance with all workplace and safety standards required.
- Mechanical experience and quick learning skills to adjust machine.
- Quality minded with a keen attention to detail to prevent errors.
- Ability to read and follow all specifications on the job jacket.
- Capable of working in a team environment and alone with a high sense of urgency.
- Ability to stand and move around work area for long periods of time.
- Possess skills to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
